Blogathon 2006
Blogathon 2006 for charity took place yesterday, raising a whopping $99,840.49. Not too shabby! Check out these great Blogathon 2006 blogs:
- The Bakerina who blogged for Heifer International and posted a lot of great recipes,
- Eric at The Fire Ant Gazette who blogged for Midland Fair Havens and held a lot of music trivia contests. (All of which I lost.)
- Julie at Lone Prairie Blog who blogged for Abused Adult Resource Center and wrote another great Bob story,
- and Jimmy at Sticky Doorknobs who also blogged for Midland Fair Havens and wrote a sweet story, "The Lost Yankee". (Can I call it "sweet"? By that, I mean, of course, it was cool.)
Eric and Jimmy held a team blogging event at the local HEB for the first few hours of the Blogathon, a really cool idea to get the word out about their charity. I have to wonder, though, how many shoppers even knew what the heck a Blogathon was?
BTW, if you're interested in any of those charities, you can still pledge over at the Blogathon 2006 site.

I noticed that. We really needed your help on the music and album cover quizzes. :)
